Our client within the digital gaming, e-commerce, and technology sector is seeking an experienced Online Operations Manager to oversee the day-to-day management, optimisation, and operational performance of a large-scale online platform.

This is an exciting opportunity for a driven and strategic professional to lead digital operations, enhance customer experience, manage key technology integrations, and drive continuous improvement initiatives within a highly regulated online environment.

The successful candidate will be based in Gauteng and will play a critical role in ensuring seamless platform performance, operational excellence, and customer satisfaction.

  • Oversee the day-to-day operations and performance of the online platform.
  • Ensure a seamless and engaging digital customer experience.
  • Monitor platform performance, uptime, and service delivery standards.
  • Manage payment processes, transaction flows, and operational controls.
  • Coordinate and oversee technology integrations with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Monitor operational risks and ensure compliance with relevant policies and procedures.
  • Manage stakeholder relationships across business, technology, customer service, and third-party providers.
  • Analyse operational data and prepare performance reports and recommendations.
  • Identify opportunities for innovation, optimisation, and digital growth.
  • Support the implementation of new features, products, and platform enhancements.
  • Ensure operational processes align with business objectives and customer expectations.
  • Lead and develop operational teams to achieve performance targets.
  • Relevant tertiary qualification in Business, Information Technology, Digital Operations, Commerce, or a related field.
  • Minimum 7 years' experience within digital operations, e-commerce, fintech, gaming, online platforms, or a related environment.
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in a management or senior operational leadership role.
  • Strong experience managing online platforms and digital customer journeys.
  • Proven experience with payment systems, transaction management, and technology integrations.
  • Strong stakeholder management and relationship-building skills.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
  • Experience managing operational performance metrics and reporting.
  • Strong understanding of digital operations, customer experience, and process optimisation.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Salary: R45,000 – R65,000 CTC per month, dependent on experience and qualifications.
