An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced

Construction Coordinator to oversee the planning, coordination, and execution of modular plant assembly activities from fabrication completion through to commissioning and project handover. This role serves as the critical link between Engineering, Procurement, Material Control, Quality, Fabrication, and Site Teams to ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and on schedule.

POSITION INFO

Construction Planning & Readiness Develop and maintain construction and assembly execution plans. Define installation methodologies and assembly sequences. Coordinate construction schedules with overall project timelines. Ensure all prerequisites are in place before work commences. Assembly Coordination & Execution Coordinate modular assembly activities in fabrication facilities and on-site. Monitor progress against schedules and resolve execution constraints. Facilitate daily and weekly planning meetings. Manage interfaces between disciplines during construction activities. Engineering & Technical Integration Ensure all IFC documentation is available before construction starts. Coordinate technical queries and design clarifications. Manage engineering information flow to construction teams. Escalate design issues affecting assembly activities. Materials & Logistics Coordination Ensure materials are available according to construction schedules. Monitor shortages, late deliveries, and missing components. Coordinate internal logistics and maintain material traceability. Contractor & Vendor Management Coordinate subcontractors and external vendors. Monitor contractor productivity and performance. Manage interfaces between multiple contractors and suppliers. Escalate and resolve performance issues. Schedule Management Develop and maintain look-ahead schedules. Monitor critical path activities and identify schedule risks. Implement recovery plans and optimize work sequencing. Quality & Compliance Ensure construction activities comply with specifications and procedures. Coordinate inspections and testing activities. Drive resolution of NCRs and support turnover activities. Health, Safety & Environment Promote a strong safety culture across all construction activities. Ensure compliance with HSE standards and permit requirements. Support risk assessments and incident investigations. Commissioning & Handover Coordinate punch-list completion and mechanical completion activities. Support commissioning teams during start-up. Ensure turnover documentation and completion dossiers are finalized. Reporting & Communication Report on construction progress, productivity, resource utilization, and risks. Maintain visibility of key milestones. Interface with Project Managers and stakeholders regarding execution status. Minimum Requirements Diploma or Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline. Minimum 5 years' experience coordinating construction activities within EPC/EPS, mining, process plant, or modular construction environments. Strong understanding of fabrication-to-construction workflows. Ability to interpret engineering drawings and specifications. Experience with contractor management, material control, and logistics coordination. Knowledge of construction quality systems, turnover processes, and HSE requirements. Proficiency in project scheduling and ERP systems. Excellent communication, planning, and stakeholder management skills. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, multi-disciplinary project environment.
