MAIN PURPOSE OF THE POSITION

The Internal Sales Specialist is responsible for driving sales growth, supporting partners, and ensuring smooth sales operations from quoting to delivery. The role focuses on building strong partner relationships, protecting profit margins, delivering excellent service, and supporting the business through accurate and efficient internal sales processes

INTERNAL SALES SPECIALIST DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Sales & Business Growth

  • Generate revenue through quoting, upselling, and cross-selling.
  • Identify new business opportunities within existing accounts.
  • Support Channel Managers with sales opportunities and pipeline management.
  • Convert leads into sales opportunities.
  • Assist with onboarding new partners.

Financial & Commercial Support

  • Ensure pricing and margins are accurate.
  • Manage discounts according to company guidelines.
  • Ensure credit checks are completed before processing orders.
  • Support debtors and forecasting processes.

Operational Support

  • Process quotes, orders, and vendor registrations accurately and on time.
  • Maintain accurate CRM and ERP records.
  • Coordinate with warehouse and logistics teams for successful deliveries.
  • Resolve order queries and escalate issues when necessary.

Vendor & Product Knowledge

  • Maintain strong knowledge of vendor products, pricing, promotions, and programs.
  • Ensure correct product positioning and alignment with vendor strategies.
  • Participate in vendor training and engagement sessions.

Partner & Customer Service

  • Provide professional and responsive communication to partners and vendors.
  • Build strong relationships and ensure a positive customer experience.
  • Act as a reliable commercial support contact for partners.

Teamwork & Development

  • Contribute positively to team culture and collaboration.
  • Support and mentor junior team members where required.
  • Complete required product, vendor, and internal training programs.
  • Continuously improve sales, system, and commercial skills.

REQUIREMENTS: Internal training associated with competencies

  • During the first week of your employment, you'll be presented with a meticulously crafted learning map designed to seamlessly guide you through your on-the-job training experience.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, Finance, or a related field is advantageous.
  • Previous experience in internal sales or commercial support is preferred within the telecommunications/ IT distribution industry.
  • Understanding of sales processes, pricing, margins, CRM, and ERP systems.
  • Strong communication, organisational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle.

OFFICE REQUIREMENTS

  • Office-based working environment.
  • Semi-formal dress code.
  • Working hours are from 08:00 – 17:00.
  • Excellent international business language skills (English), both written and verbal.
  • Reliable transport to and from the office.

  • This is a permanent position subject to a successful three-month probationary period.
  • You will be required to perform such duties as reasonably required by the business.
