Role Title: Chibur Events Intern

Department: Marketing

Duration: 10-20 hours a week minimum 3 month commitment

Compensation: $100 a month with a $200 bonus opportunity based on performance

Role Purpose

The purpose of the events intern is essential to the success of the organization. Our events serve as a main pipeline of connection and are a revenue driver through sponsorships.

Responsibilities

In this role you will help advertise our events through various marketing and social media channels to drive awareness and registrations.

  • Create marketing content from templates
  • Post event details to various online communities and social media channels
  • Communicate key details of events through email with event guests and hosts
  • Coordinate actively with manager about status of events
  • Update social channels post event
  • Follow up with clients post event

About You

You’re a fast learner with a keen attention to detail and a marketing state of mind. You enjoy working independently to accomplish goals that support the team. You speak your mind, have fresh ideas and follow through.

  • Enjoy learning by the use of video and written training materials
  • Familiarity with Canva
  • Familiarity with Asana or similar project management tools
  • Familiarity with GSuite
  • Comfortable working remotely
  • Knowledgeable about social media platforms
