SUMMARY

Our client, a leading provider of innovative financial solutions, is seeking an experienced and commercially astute Regional Manager to lead and manage business operations within the Eastern Cape region. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving revenue growth, expanding market share, strengthening client and intermediary relationships, overseeing portfolio performance, and ensuring operational excellence.

POSITION INFO

Description: Drive regional revenue growth and achieve sales and profitability targets. Identify, develop, and convert new business opportunities within the region. Expand market presence across key sectors and client markets. Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, intermediaries, and stakeholders. Ensure high levels of client satisfaction and retention. Oversee portfolio performance, asset quality, and risk exposure. Ensure adherence to credit policies, governance standards, and risk frameworks. Monitor operational performance and ensure effective execution of business processes. Align regional activities with strategic business objectives. Track, analyse, and report on regional performance metrics and business outcomes. Lead, coach, and develop regional team members to achieve performance targets. Foster a high-performance culture focused on accountability and results. Requirements: Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Business, Economics, Commerce, or a related field. Postgraduate qualification in Business, Finance, Leadership, or Management will be advantageous. 8 - 12 years' experience within financial services, asset finance, commercial finance, banking, or business development environments. Proven experience driving revenue growth and market expansion. Strong background in business development and client acquisition. Experience managing regional operations, portfolios, or business units. Demonstrated success in stakeholder and intermediary relationship management. Experience leading and developing high-performing teams. Exposure to governance, compliance, risk management, and regulatory.
