Cybersecurity Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled and proactive Cybersecurity Engineer to design, implement, and maintain our enterprise security infrastructure. In this role, you will bridge the gap between core engineering and information security, actively finding vulnerabilities, automating defences, and securing our digital assets from sophisticated threats. You will be an essential player in keeping our data safe and maintaining deep trust with our customers.
Key Responsibilities
Security Infrastructure: Design, deploy, and manage security tools across cloud and on-premises environments
Vulnerability Management: Perform automated and manual vulnerability assessments, risk analyses, and write clean patches or code fixes directly
Incident Response: Monitor real-time security alerts, investigate potential compromises, and act as a key responder during high-pressure security incidents
Cloud & Pipeline Security: Integrate automated security testing controls into modern CI/CD pipelines and configure cloud IAM at scale
System Hardening: Establish baseline configuration and architecture rules to protect internal servers, networks, and software applications continuously
Compliance & Audits: Ensure technological setups adhere to industry standards and regulations
Requirements & Qualifications
Experience: [3-5+] years of professional experience working directly in information security engineering or high-scale systems administration.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or equivalent technical training.
Code Fluency: Solid code-level scripting capabilities in at least one modern language to build custom security automation tools.
Cloud Architecture: Deep operational familiarity with major cloud control planes and cloud infrastructure tools Networking Protocol: Strong foundational knowledge of TCP/IP, subnets, routing, switching, and VPN technologies.
Communication Skills: Demonstrated ability to explain complex technical risk patterns in clear, simple business terms to non-technical stakeholders
Preferred (Nice-to-Have) Skills
Industry-recognised certifications such as CISSP, CEH, CCSP, OSCP, or CompTIA Security+
Experience running structured tabletop simulation exercises or advanced penetration testing
Background in threat intelligence gathering and advanced malware analysis.
