SUMMARY

Our client, a well-established company is seeking an experienced Field Service Manager to lead their Cape Town service team.

Role Purpose

Oversee a team of Service Technicians, drive operational excellence, build client relationships, and support the growth of the Boiler Management System (BMS) as a revenue-generating platform.

POSITION INFO

Minimum Requirements B Tech: Mechanical Engineering or N. Dip Mechanical Engineering Gas Practitioner License 8–10 years' experience in an industrial/engineering environment 3–4 years' installation experience with burners and boilers (green energy, gas, and oil) Ability to issue COC certificates Electrical knowledge (ELC1 and ELC2) Strong team leadership and problem-solving abilities Computer literate – MS Office Suite, MS Teams (Accpac/Xero advantageous) Key Responsibilities Scheduling and planning of service team projects, installations, and commissioning Mentoring and developing Service Technicians Client liaison and stakeholder relationship management Contributing to and driving departmental sales targets Developing and growing the BMS platform (target: R15M p.a.)
