You will play a key role in helping leading organisations modernise their operations through innovative and scalable logistics solutions.

We are looking for a highly driven and commercially astute Business Development Manager to grow our footprint across South Africa and the broader SADC region. This role is ideal for a solution-oriented sales professional with a strong background in intralogistics, warehouse automation, or supply chain solutions, who thrives in a dynamic, relationship-driven environment. You will play a key role in helping leading organisations modernise their operations through innovative and scalable logistics solutions Key Responsibilities Drive New Business Growth - Identify and develop new business opportunities across key sectors including retail, FMCG, ecommerce, 3PL, manufacturing, and pharmaceuticals. - Build and maintain a strong sales pipeline with a mix of short-term and long-cycle projects. - Own the full sales cycle from prospecting to closing. Consultative Selling - Engage with senior stakeholders (Operations, Supply Chain, Finance, Executive level) - Understand customer challenges such as: o Cost pressures and labour constraints o Space limitations and warehouse inefficiencies o Load shedding and operational resilience. - Develop tailored solutions demonstrating clear ROI and business impact. Solution Development - Work closely with engineering and design teams to develop customised logistics solutions. - Ensure solutions are aligned to local market conditions and operational realities. - Present compelling proposals and value propositions to customers Customer & Stakeholder Management - Build long-term relationships with key clients and industry stakeholders. - Position the company as a trusted advisor, not just a vendor. - Maintain engagement throughout the project lifecycle and beyond. Commercial & Tender Management - Lead responses to RFQs, RFPs, and tenders. - Develop competitive pricing strategies and commercial proposals. - Navigate complex procurement processes within large organisations. Regional Expansion - Support growth into SADC markets and cross-border opportunities. - Leverage relationships with multinational clients operating in the region. Minimum Requirements - Bachelor's degree in supply chain, Engineering, Logistics, or Business - Minimum 5-10 years' experience in: o Logistics solutions / warehouse automation / material handling o OR complex industrial / capital equipment sales - Proven track record of closing high-value, solution-based deals - Strong understanding of South African supply chain and logistics landscape Please send your cv to
