Job Title: Warehouse Admin Clerk
Job Summary:
A Warehouse Admin Clerk is responsible for handling warehouse paperwork, updating stock records, processing orders, and ensuring accurate documentation of incoming and outgoing goods. The role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and basic computer knowledge.
Key Responsibilities
- Capture and update stock data on warehouse systems
- Process delivery notes, invoices, and purchase orders
- Maintain accurate inventory and shipment records
- Prepare reports on stock movement and warehouse activities
- Assist with receiving and dispatch documentation
- Communicate with suppliers, drivers, and internal departments
- File and organize warehouse documents
- Monitor stock discrepancies and report issues
- Answer calls, emails, and administrative queries
- Support warehouse supervisors with daily admin tasks
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Grade 12 / high school certificate
- Certificate or diploma in Administration (advantage)
- Previous warehouse or admin experience preferred
- Computer literacy (especially Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, and email systems)
- Good data capturing and record-keeping skills
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Good communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
Working Conditions
- Office or warehouse administration environment
- Mostly desk-based with occasional warehouse visits
- May require overtime during busy periods
