POSITION INFO

Minimum Requirements Qualifications: Grade 12 (Matric) National Diploma in Quantity Surveying Experience: Minimum 3-5 years' Quantity Surveying experience within the civil construction industry, including: Earthworks Road Construction Concrete Structures Stormwater Infrastructure Mining Infrastructure Pipelines General Civil Engineering Projects Computer Literacy (Essential): Microsoft Excel (Advanced) Microsoft Word Microsoft Outlook Microsoft Project Licences & Other Requirements: Valid Driver's Licence (Code EB/08) Medically fit to work on mines No criminal record Knowledge Requirements The incumbent must possess sound knowledge of: Quantity Surveying Principles Construction Estimating and Cost Management Contract Administration and Commercial Management GCC 2015 Conditions of Contract FIDIC Contract Suite NEC Contract Suite Procurement Processes Civil Engineering Construction Methods Measurement Rules and Standards JBCC Principles (advantageous) Claims, Variations and Final Accounts
