Electrical Engineer (Building Services)

Our client is seeking an Electrical Engineer with 3–5 years of experience in building services to join a dynamic engineering team in Cape Town. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to the design and delivery of a variety of building projects while further developing your technical expertise within a collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with the design and development of electrical building services systems
• Prepare technical reports, specifications, and engineering documentation
• Support project teams with calculations, layouts, and design coordination
• Participate in site inspections and project meetings when required
• Ensure compliance with relevant codes, standards, and project requirements
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams throughout project execution
• Contribute to the successful delivery of projects within agreed timelines

Requirements:

• Degree in Electrical Engineering
• 3–5 years of experience within the building services sector
• Knowledge of electrical building systems and engineering principles
• Proficiency in relevant engineering and design software
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
