Payment Network Support Specialist

An exciting opportunity exists for a highly organised and proactive Payment Network Support Specialist to join our client’s growing operations team in Stellenbosch. This role offers the chance to work within a dynamic payment’s environment where accuracy, problem-solving, and effective coordination play a critical role in operational success.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Facilitate network onboarding processes and implementation activities
  • Maintain accurate records relating to networks, billers, and fee structures
  • Reconcile network fee schedules and identify inconsistencies across systems
  • Analyse and validate information using internal platforms and external documentation
  • Manage onboarding documentation and ensure compliance standards are maintained
  • Coordinate merchant and biller activation and deactivation requests
  • Work closely with internal departments to ensure smooth operational delivery
  • Escalate operational concerns and assist with issue resolution
  • Ensure data accuracy and consistency across all relevant platforms

Candidate Requirements

  • Relevant tertiary qualification
  • 3–5 years of experience in an operational support, customer support, or administrative role involving data management
  • Strong Excel skills with experience using advanced formulas and reporting tools
  • Exposure to the Financial Services sector, particularly payments, will be advantageous
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
  • Valid driver’s licence and reliable transport
  • Fluent English communication skills
