Wynberg Boys’ Junior School, a leading boys’ school with a proud tradition of excellence, is seeking to appoint an outstanding, forward-thinking librarian to join its dynamic staff as the School Librarian.
This position offers an exciting opportunity for a passionate librarian or educator to lead and develop a vibrant library as the intellectual hub of the school, while contributing meaningfully to the academic, cultural and co-curricular life of our boys. The successful candidate will demonstrate a strong commitment to boys’ education, fostering curiosity, critical thinking and a lifelong love of reading in line with international best practice.
In addition to managing an inclusive and well-resourced library, the successful candidate will play a key role in developing learners’ literacy, communication and analytical skills. Active involvement in the school’s sport and extramural programme is an essential part of this role.
