Senior Software Developer (C#)

Our client is seeking an experienced Software Developer to join their in-house development team based in Rivonia. This role is suited to a seasoned professional who enjoys working across both new development and the ongoing enhancement of established business-critical systems. The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining and evolving software solutions within a collaborative and technically focused environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and enhance C# applications
- Contribute to both new software development and maintenance projects
- Perform developer testing and quality assurance activities
- Maintain and optimise relational database structures
- Develop and implement data migration and data take-on scripts
- Support and enhance web-based applications and server technologies
- Contribute to the maintenance and improvement of internal tools and frameworks
- Provide technical analysis and support to other teams within the organisation
- Troubleshoot and resolve software and database-related issues
Minimum Requirements
- Extensive commercial experience in C# software development
- Strong SQL and relational database development experience
- Proven database analysis and design capabilities
- Experience working with Microsoft-based technologies
- Ability to work from detailed specifications and technical requirements
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and within a team environment
- Reliable transport and willingness to work from the Rivonia office
Advantageous Skills
- PostgreSQL or Oracle experience
- Linux exposure
- Troubleshooting and support experience
- Experience working with both proprietary and open-source technologies
