A high-performing Automation Engineer is required to design, develop, and optimise intelligent control systems within a fast-paced industrial environment.

Job & Company Description: This role is built for a technically sharp engineer who thrives on innovation and efficiency. You will be responsible for developing and maintaining automation systems that drive productivity, reduce downtime, and improve operational performance. Working across multiple projects, you will design control strategies, implement PLC/SCADA systems, and ensure seamless integration between equipment, processes, and digital systems. Education: BEng / BTech / National Diploma in Electrical, Mechatronics, or Automation Engineering Job Experience & Skills Required: Minimum 3-5 years' experience in automation engineering Strong PLC programming experience (Siemens, Allen Bradley, Rockwell) Experience with SCADA and HMI systems Knowledge of industrial communication protocols (Modbus, Profibus, Ethernet/IP) Experience in manufacturing, FMCG, mining, or industrial environments Strong troubleshooting and fault-finding skills Ability to work on commissioning and site-based projects Key Responsibilities: Design, develop, and implement PLC and SCADA systems Program and configure automation and control systems Troubleshoot and resolve automation-related failures Commission new systems and upgrades Optimise processes to improve efficiency and reduce downtime Collaborate with electrical, mechanical, and production teams Maintain documentation and system configurations Support continuous improvement initiatives Apply now!
