A family is looking for an Au Pair for their children
Area: Atholl
Children’s Ages: Girls – Grade 8 (Dyspraxia) and Grade 11 (Dyslexia)
Working hours: Monday to Thursday 14:00 – 19:00, Friday 14:30 – 16:30
School holiday hours: Same/similar hours
Duties: Collect from school, take to extra-murals, assist with and supervise homework, run general family errands, grocery shopping for the family, engaging in intellectually stimulating play & activities, prepare meals the children, occasional babysitting and weekend work (by prior arrangement)
Special Requirements: Remedial experience (preferable), fun, interactive, loving and caring, structured, must love dogs. Strong in Maths to Grade 12, English remedial assistance, just very good at helping teens study
Start Date and contract term: September 2026 – permanent
Salary: R13 000 per month (Gross, before deductions) + SARS Rates per km | Family is flexible on salary for very strong candidates
**** Must have at least 12 consecutive months of formal child caring experience, excluding work done for friends and family. This experience must be within the last 2 years.
****Must have their own, reliable car and at least 18 months driving experience.
****Must have at least 2 contactable childcare references.
****Must have a clear criminal record
****Must have a passion for children
****Must have Matric
****Must have a South African ID document.
