About the Division

The Agricultural Management Services Division provides specialised agricultural economic and management support services, including:

  • Agricultural economic and feasibility studies
  • Economic and financial viability analyses
  • Development of decision-making models and cost norms (input and mechanisation budgets)
  • Production and efficiency analysis
  • Training and lectures on agricultural economics

About the Role

We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Admin Assistant to support the administrative and financial functions of the Agricultural Management Services office. The role requires a strong administrative foundation, sound financial understanding, and the ability to manage multiple stakeholders, including clients, auditors, and regulatory bodies.

This is a half-day position.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and oversee all administrative functions within the office
  • Ensure compliance with internal policies, procedures, and governance standards
  • Liaise with SARS, audit firms, and clients regarding financial transactions and services regarding VAT
  • Processing of invoices and payment of creditors.
  • Invoicing of clients.
  • Planning of farmers days and lectures.

Minimum Requirements

  • Grade 12 / NQF Level 4
  • Proven knowledge of basic accounting principles
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel)
  • Relevant administrative experience (agricultural or financial environment advantageous)
