TELECOMS Systems Analyst - Stellenbosch - Hybrid - R1.3m per Annum

Are you a Systems Analyst with Telecommunications, ISP, or MVNO experience looking to work on next-generation connectivity platforms?

We're seeking a highly skilled Systems Analyst to join a dynamic team driving innovation across mobile, FTTH, FWA, and cloud-native telecommunications environments.

What You'll Need

• Relevant tertiary qualification in IT, Computer Science, or Information Systems
• 6 to 10 years' experience in Systems Analysis and Design
• Exposure to complex system integrations
• Strong SQL and Transact-SQL skills
• Experience with Web Services, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
• Exposure to Java or C# advantageous
• Telco industry experience highly advantageous

Advantageous Tools & Certifications

• Jira
• Confluence
• Automation Tools
• AWS Certifications
• Working knowledge of Java and/or C#

Telecommunications Knowledge

Experience or understanding of:

• 4G/5G Core Networks
• Packet Core Technologies
• RAN, Cloud RAN, and Open RAN
• Network Slicing
• FTTH Networks, OLTs, and ONTs
• Broadband Network Gateways (BNG)
• Disaggregated BNG / CUPS Architecture

Modern Technology Stack

• REST APIs and Event-Driven Architecture
• API Lifecycle Management and Governance
• Cloud-Native Engineering
• Containers, Kubernetes, and Microservices
• Interoperable and Reusable Service Design
