Sales and Dealer Support Manager - Earthmoving Equipment

Earthmoving equipment sales and marketing professional with a relevant degree and minimum 5 years’ experience in sales, marketing and operational management within the Earthmoving equipment industry, preferably in expanding and developing sales channels in the Sub Saharan African Market, required to maintain and improve the market share and improve dealer performance in the territory, for a Construction and Mining Equipment Company in Boksburg.

Responsibilities:

  • Construction Machinery/Equipment sales – selling new and used equipment and services, maintain customer base, manage tender, costing and delivery processes, retain and improve market share
  • Business Development – review and improve current dealer network, new business prospects, support dealer sales, dealer agreement management and improvement
  • Subsidiary and Dealer support – manage dealer relationship and growth, support dealers, prospecting sales, manage equipment procurement, aftersales support, dealer agreements, dealer reviews, complaint resolution, training to stakeholders, dealer assessment
  • Costing and Pricing
  • Equipment stock analysis on regional level, monitor dealer stock levels and manage stock allocated to various dealers
  • Customer relations
  • Finance and administration – budget monitoring and reporting, forecasts, sales target reporting and forecasts
  • People management
  • RT15 Management

Minimum requirements:

  • Tertiary qualification in Sales & Marketing required
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in Sales in Marketing in the Earthmoving Equipment Industry, required
  • Supervisory/management experience required
  • Must be willing and able to travel
  • Valid Driver’s license essential
