Financial Data Analyst

CCG Systems is an ICT sector and is well known to specialize in the implementation and support of ERP systems as well as Payroll & HR Systems to which our clients are made of mostly Municipalities throughout South Africa. Our company is looking for a potential candidate to join our Consulting team in the capacity of a Financial Data Analyst, to be based at our Head Office.

The Financial Data Analyst is responsible for ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and compliance of financial information across multiple systems and reporting structures. The role includes performing reconciliations, preparing financial statements, ensuring MSCOA compliance, and supporting audits.

Must Have

• Valid code B driver’s license and own transport
• Passed credit and criminal checks
• S.A Citizen, Resident or Valid S.A Work Permit
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Data Analytics, or related field

Responsibilities

• Perform reconciliations between General Ledger, Debtors, billing systems, and AFS.
• Investigate discrepancies and ensure data integrity.
• Prepare audit-ready reconciliation schedules .
• Prepare Annual Financial Statements with supporting schedules.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
• Support audit processes and resolve queries.
• Ensure correct classification and mapping of transactions.
• Support departments with MSCOA-compliant processes.
• Assist with integration into systems and reporting tools.
• Analyze financial trends and variances.
• Provide reports and insights to management.
• Develop dashboards and financial models.
• Identify process gaps and improve efficiency.
• Support system upgrades and testing.
• Maintain SOP documentation.
