Minimum Requirements
- Grade 12 certificate or equivalent (NQF Level 4) required.
- Prior experience in hospitality or food service is highly desirable.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage customers effectively.
- Proficiency in using digital tools for demo planning and customer feedback collection.
- Excellent attention to detail, particularly in food preparation and presentation.
- Knowledge of food safety, hygiene standards, and compliance protocols.
- Ability to plan and organise tasks efficiently, managing time from set-up to clean-up independently.
- Customer-focused mindset with the ability to create memorable in-store tasting experiences.
- Capability to remain calm and professional under pressure while multitasking.

Duties and Responsibilities
- Welcome and engage customers by providing warm, informative food tastings that showcase Woolworths' products.
- Prepare and present demo dishes following specified recipes and quality standards, ensuring a clean and safe tasting environment.
- Utilize digital tools such as QR codes and internal systems to collect and report customer feedback and enhance engagement.
- Maintain compliance with food safety, hygiene, and health protocols at all times during demo activities.
- Collaborate with store teams to ensure demo products are well-stocked and attractively merchandised.
- Manage demo setup, execution, and clean-up efficiently, demonstrating strong planning and organizational skills.
- Promote featured items by sharing compelling product stories and encouraging customers to try new products.
- Monitor and report any suspicious behavior to minimize shrinkage and support store security measures.
- Attend briefings, stay informed about product launches, and actively contribute ideas for improving tasting experiences.
- Exhibit professionalism, reliability, and a positive attitude, remaining calm and customer-focused under pressure.
