JOB PURPOSE

The Sales Team Leader will be responsible for managing and guiding a team of sales representatives to achieve set sales targets and business objectives. This role requires a results-driven individual with excellent leadership, coaching, and communication skills. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales and team management, ensuring high performance and motivation within the team. The team leader will be responsible for leading a team of agents selling fibre products.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

TEAM LEADERSHIP & MANAGEMENT

  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of sales representatives to meet and exceed targets.
  • Provide ongoing support, training, and mentorship to team members.
  • Conduct regular performance evaluations and implement improvement strategies.
  • Foster a positive and competitive team environment.

SALES PERFORMANCE & STRATEGY

  • Drive sales and business development initiatives in alignment with company objectives.
  • Develop and implement strategies to maximize sales opportunities and increase revenue.
  • Monitor and analyze sales performance metrics, providing reports to senior management.
  • Identify market trends and customer needs to enhance sales tactics.

CUSTOMER RELATIONSHIP MANAGEMENT

  • Ensure a high level of customer service and client satisfaction.
  • Address and resolve customer inquiries and complaints in a timely manner.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders.

OPERATIONAL & ADMINISTRATIVE DUTIES

  • Ensure adherence to company policies, processes, and compliance requirements.
  • Conduct regular team meetings and sales training sessions.
  • Collaborate with other departments to optimize sales processes and operational efficiency.
  • Prepare and submit sales reports, forecasts, and performance analyses.

KEY REQUIREMENTS

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

  • Minimum [2] years of experience in a sales leadership role.
  • Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
  • Experience in Telecommunications is advantageous.
  • Strong understanding of sales techniques, CRM software, and market trends.

SKILLS & COMPETENCIES

  • Excellent leadership and team management abilities.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to motivate and inspire a sales team to achieve high performance.
  • Analytical mindset with problem-solving capabilities.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, CRM systems, and sales performance tools.
