Artisan Boilermaker – Fixed Term Contract

In this role you will be responsible for:

Repairs on conveyer belts, chutes, aprons, mills, crushers, feeders, magnetic separators Preventative maintenance service of all plant equipment Fault finding, troubleshooting and root cause failure analysis of equipment breakdown Do developments like lobster bends, cones, and square to round A section of the plant will be allocated to the respective boilermaker Ensuring availability of equipment spares for his/her responsible section Reading drawings and be able to use measuring instruments Arc and TIG/MIG welding Welding and fabrication of mild steel plate, heavy and light structures, and pipe work Welding and fabrication of stainless-steel plate and pipe work Statutory checks on structures, equipment and tools Adhering to Health, Safety and Environmental standards and good housekeeping

About you:

N2 with relevant trade subjects Relevant Trade Test Certificate (Section 13 or 26D) 3 Years’ working experience in a mining / plant environment Must have a valid driver’s license Medically fit Good communication skills
