Mechanical Engineer (Fire)

Our client is seeking a skilled and motivated Building Services Mechanical Engineer (Fire) to join a dynamic engineering team delivering innovative fire safety solutions across a diverse range of construction projects in South Africa and internationally. This opportunity is ideal for an experienced professional looking to contribute to technically challenging projects while advancing their professional career.

Requirements

• BTech or BEng in Mechanical Engineering
• Minimum of 5 years' experience in Fire Engineering within the building services environment.
• Registered with ECSA or committed to obtaining professional registration.
• Proven experience with SANS deemed-to-satisfy and rational fire safety design.
• Experience designing firefighting equipment, smoke extraction, stair pressurisation and sprinkler systems.
• Thermal modelling experience will be advantageous.
• Strong MS Word and MS Excel skills.
