Underground Mine Overseer

We're seeking a talented Underground Mine Overseer to join our client's team in Mpumalanga!

Requirements:

• Grade 12
• National Diploma, BTech or Degree in Mining Engineering will be advantageous
• Mine Overseer’s Certificate of Competency
• Fiery Mine Blasting Certificate
• Gas Testing Certificate
• Minimum 5 years' underground coal mining experience in a mechanised mining environment
• Minimum 2 years' experience as a Mine Overseer appointed in terms of Regulation 2.14.1 of MHSA.
• Experience in Continuous Miner sections, stonework, geological disturbances (dykes and faults), low-seam mining and conventional drill-and-blast operations
• Experience in managing contractor performance and compliance.
