Payroll Manager

One of the leading multinational Manufacturing companies is looking for a Payroll Manager to join their team, reporting to the HR Manager. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing and managing the end-to-end Payroll operations for South Africa and East West Africa regions. Our client is looking for someone that has had exposure in Multi country Africa Payroll.

Key Responsibilities

• Overseeing and managing the end-to-end Payroll operations in South Africa and East West Africa
• Adapt Payroll processes to accommodate regional differences in currency, taxation and labour laws
• Overseeing timesheets and Payroll processing to ensure compliance, accuracy and timelines
• Maintaining up to date knowledge of regional Payroll legislation
• Assisting employees with any Payroll related queries
• Reconciling bank collections and direct deposits information
• Overseeing Payroll reconciliations
• Supporting Payroll system implementation and upgrades and process improvements

Qualifications required

• National Diploma or a Degree or any other relevant qualification

Skills and Requirements

• Minimum of 8 Years progressive experience in Payroll
• Must have experience in dealing with Multi country / Africa Payroll
• Must have been on Payroll Management level for at least 2 years
• Proven industry experience in Mining, Manufacturing or other heavy industrial sectors
• Must have knowledge and experience of Payroll Regulations and Statutory requirements

R 800 000 CTC per annum
