Job Description: We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teacher Assistant to join our team in Durban, South Africa. As a Teacher Assistant, you will work closely with our teachers to support and enhance the learning experience of our students. Key Responsibilities:

• Assist teachers in planning and delivering lessons
• Provide one-on-one and small group support to students
• Monitor and track student progress
• Assist with classroom management and behavior management
• Prepare teaching materials and resources
• Supervise students during breaks and other activities
• Communicate effectively with teachers, parents, and other staff members
• Attend staff meetings and training sessions as required
• Maintain a safe and inclusive learning environment for all students
• Minimum of a high school diploma, a degree in education or related field is preferred
• Previous experience working with children or in a classroom setting is an advantage
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong organizational and time-management skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

The working hours are Monday to Friday, 8am-4pm. The salary will be competitive and based on qualifications and experience.
