Quality Technologist to join our team in Malmesbury

Salary: R20 000 CTC

POSITION INFO

Minimum requirements: Diploma in Food Technology (essential). Degree in Food Science (advantageous). 1-2 years' technical experience in an FMCG environment. 1-2 years' supervisory experience within FMCG will be advantageous. Strong computer literacy, report-writing skills, attention to detail, and accuracy Key Responsibilities Maintain and improve Food Safety and Quality Management Systems. Conduct internal audits, inspections, verification activities, and quality monitoring. Ensure compliance with food safety, customer, legal, and regulatory requirements. Investigate customer complaints, non-conformances, and implement corrective actions. Monitor environmental, product, and microbiological testing programs. Support external audits and maintain quality documentation and records. Assist with new product development, factory trials, product launches, and process improvements. Compile technical reports, trend analyses, and quality performance feedback. Build and maintain effective relationships with customers, suppliers, and internal departments. Supervise and coordinate Quality Controllers and support quality-related training initiatives. Ensure compliance with SHEQ, hygiene, PPE, and Occupational Health & Safety requirements.
