Employer Description Property Company Job Description Duties: Preparation of annual financial statements for multiple business operations and entities, to a standard suitable for external audit. General accounting functions across several companies and operations. Monthly accounting, reconciliations, management accounts and supporting schedules. Preparing audit files and liaising with auditors. Maintaining proper accounting records and supporting documentation. Assisting with tax-related accounting matters, including VAT, income tax, provisional tax and related reconciliations. Understanding and recording corporate loans, inter-company loans, shareholder loans and related interest calculations. Monitoring loan accounts and ensuring that transactions are properly allocated and supported. Assisting with cash flow records, creditor payments, debtor records and general financial administration. Qualifications BCom Financial Accounting Degree Skills 5 Years Relevant Experience within Property Development Sector Fluent in English and Afrikaans Using accounting software efficiently, with a strong working knowledge of Xero being important. Working closely with management and external professional advisers where required.
