We are currently accepting applications for the following position located in Witbank, Mpumalanga.
Plant Manager
The incumbent in this role is responsible for managing the delivery and execution of the Operational Plan for areas of responsibility, focusing on the areas of safety and production through selection, development and optimal utilisation of people and equipment; the daily, weekly and monthly monitoring of the relevant processes and delivery of targets; and the identification and management of risks
Key Responsibilities
-
Managing the CHPP from ROM section, processing plant, discard disposal, road sales to train loading
Managing compliance with MHSA and Company Policies and Procedures
Optimizing efficiency of coal processing operations
Ensuring the deliverance of the right quantity and quality of coal and the timeous delivery of coal products
Managing and controlling of Eskom contracts
Minimum Qualifications
-
Relevant Tertiary Qualification in Metallurgy
Advanced Lump Ore Beneficiation Certificate will be advantageous
Minimum Experience

Minimum 6 years’ experience in Metallurgy post tertiary qualification of which 3 years should be at a D2 Metallurgist level
