We have amazing opportunities for x2 Skills Development Coordinators to be based in Umhlanga, Durban. Do you think you have what it takes to be our newest Purple Star?

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing coordinated administrative support to the Star Factory Training team across all relevant training and development interventions, with specific responsibility for supporting the Skills Development Facilitator in the administration of SETA Mandatory and Discretionary Grant processes.

You Bring

  • MS Office Experience (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)

A Bonus To Have

  • Completed or studying towards an SDF qualification
  • Training administration and SDF support experience

What You’ll Do For The Brand

SETA Mandatory & Discretionary Grant Administration Support

  • Assist SDF with all administration required for SETA Mandatory and Discretionary Grant applications and related processes.
  • Support the collection, checking and recording of information required for Workplace Skills Plan and Annual Training Report submissions.
  • Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to obtain required training data, learner information, attendance records, completion information and supporting evidence.
  • Follow up on outstanding information and documentation required for Mandatory and Discretionary Grant submissions.
  • Maintain and update all evidence records in line with operational processes and SETA requirements.
  • Check that documentation received is complete, accurate and aligned to internal submission requirements.
  • Highlight missing, incomplete or inconsistent information to the SDF for correction or escalation.
  • Support the SDF in meeting internal and SETA-related deadlines.

Administration

  • Responsible for all administrative functions related to learnerships and other training interventions as required by the team to ensure that the interventions are tracked, recorded and reported on as required.
  • Ensure all relevant documents meet compliance requirements for BBBEE and other audit purposes

Reporting

  • Maintains and updates all relevant training records as required to ensure that the data is available for business reporting.

Learnership Support

  • Assists trainers, learners and Training Administrators as and when required to ensure that tasks are completed as required
