Recruitment Specialist - JHB

Our client is seeking a Recruitment Specialist to join their team in Johannesburg.
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and executing end-to-end recruitment processes in line with company strategies. This includes attracting, screening, and supporting the appointment of high-quality candidates who align with business needs and company culture.
In order to be considered for this role, you must have the following:
- Matric
- A qualification in HR or a related field will be advantageous
- Minimum 3-5 years’ recruitment experience, preferably in a technical or manufacturing environment
- Registered with MIE
- Knowledge of South African labour legislation and EE requirements
- Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint
- Experience using social media platforms for recruitment
- Legal driving licence
Key Accountabilities, but not limited to
- Partnering with hiring managers to understand recruitment needs, requirements, and expectations
- Ensuring job specifications and requirements are clear
- Conducting targeted searches to build a database of suitable candidates for critical and difficult-to-fill roles
- Placing advertisements on relevant recruitment platforms
- Coordinating screening, longlisting, shortlisting, and interview scheduling
- Facilitating selection processes, including assessments, psychometric evaluations, references, and relevant checks
- Providing timeous and constructive feedback to interviewed applicants
- Extending approved offers to successful candidates
- Representing the company at career fairs or recruitment events when required
- Assisting with onboarding together with the HR team
- Tracking recruitment trends, talent availability, and recruitment metrics
- Assisting the HR Manager with recruitment reporting
