Manufacturing Data & BOM Coordinator

A well established manufacturing company in Alrode is seeking to employ a detail oriented and proactive candidate. This role is critical in ensuring accurate manufacturing processes, bill of materials (BOM) management, costing analysis, and quality control. The succesful candidate will play a key role in mantaining production efficiency, stock accuracy, and compliance with company standards.

Manufacturing Data Capture & Reporting

• Manufacturing jobs accurately according to picking slips
• Align tasks with daily production schedule
• Report low stock levels to procurement to avoid delays

Bill of Materials (BOM Management)

• Update BOMs to reflect design and production changes
• Collaborate with Procurement and Draughting teams for accuracy
• Create BOMs for new products with proper documentation

Costing & Material Usage Analysis

• Assist in calculating unit costs per cabinet
• Verify and cost buy-in components with Procuments

Picking Slip Control

• Issue and manage picking slips for material issuing
• Explode BOMs for accurate store issuing
• File completed slips for traceability

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Experience with BOM management and manufacturing processes
• Knowledge of Pastel and similar ERP systems
• Ability to work collaboratively accross departments
• Basic IT knowledge will be an advantage
• Matric
• 2 years data capturing experience will be advantagous
