township communities. We connect every home with fast fibre and provide an easy, contract-free, time-based product—from only R5 for 24 hours of unlimited access.

Role Purpose (What This Role Really Is About)
The General Manager is the heartbeat of the site: a hands-on people leader who coaches teams daily, ensures coordinated operations across build, maintenance, and customer engagement, and delivers a consistently excellent customer experience.

This is a field-based leadership role rooted in community connection, teamwork, and practical on-the-ground problem solving — not corporate desk work.
- Lead s Coach the Site Team
- Create a high-performance, values-driven culture across all site functions.
- Run daily stand-ups to set priorities, coordinate activities, and energize the team.
- Coach customer engagement, build, and maintenance teams to improve skills, behaviours, and performance.
- Recognise strong performance and address underperformance quickly and constructively.
- Integrate s Coordinate Daily Operations
- Ensure seamless day-to-day collaboration between Build, Maintenance, and Customer Engagement teams.
- Track daily and weekly performance targets and intervene early when issues arise.
- Identify operational bottlenecks and work with central teams to escalate and resolve issues efficiently.
- Deliver a Consistent Customer Experience
- Be the most visible and trusted representative of your site — approachable, responsive, and accountable.
- Ensure all customer-facing staff consistently deliver the experience using established brand guardrails.
- Guide the team to resolve customer issues quickly (preferably face-to-face) and ensure learnings are captured.
- Ensure High-Quality Execution Standards
- Oversee the quality, safety, and compliance of all on-site work across build, maintenance, and customer engagement.
- Work with technical and network teams to uphold fibre infrastructure standards and ensure rapid issue resolution.
- Actively monitor workmanship, network performance, and hotspot problem areas, addressing root causes early.
- Drive Site Business Performance
- Own the commercial performance of your site, ensuring strong daily customer usage of the network, grow the number of home and device connections, and customer retention.
- Identify growth opportunities within the community—new homes, high-traffic areas, local partnerships.
- Monitor trends (competition, customer behaviour, technical patterns) and adjust tactics rapidly.
- Build Community Trust s Brand Love
- Build strong relationships with local leaders, community groups, and influencers.
- Represent the company at community events and activations.
- Stay plugged in to what’s happening on the ground — customer behaviour, emerging issues, opportunities for growth.
What You Bring
- Experience leading field teams in high-intensity, customer-centric operating environments. Previous experience in FMCG, retail or other customer centric operations is preferable.
- Strong people leadership, coaching, and conflict-resolution skills.
- Comfort working in dynamic township environments and engaging directly with customers and communities.
- Strong business acumen and commercial fluency
- A practical understanding of fibre networks and technical quality standards (advantageous).
- High emotional intelligence and a collaborative leadership style.
- Excellent communication skills
- Data-oriented mindset with an ability to translate data into insights and action.
R18k - R30k + comm + bonus based on team performance
