If so, our external client in the Transport and Logistics sector is looking for an Enterprise Architect to play a key role in shaping the future of their digital landscape. This is a permanent on-site role based in the Eastern suburbs of Johannesburg

POSITION INFO

Qualifications & Experience Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, or a related discipline. Minimum 5 years' experience in Enterprise Architecture, Solution Architecture, Business Architecture, or a similar role. Demonstrated experience supporting complex business and digital transformation initiatives. Technical Expertise Strong experience in process modelling and architecture documentation using Draw.io or similar tools. Good understanding of enterprise integration principles including: API's ESB ETL Experience managing or analysing application portfolios and enterprise landscapes. Familiarity with LeanIX or comparable Enterprise Architecture repositories. Basic knowledge of Microsoft Azure environments. Experience evaluating architecture requirements during software selection and procurement processes. What You'll Be Doing Strategic Architecture Leadership Provide hands-on architectural guidance and support across business transformation projects. Conduct functional and application architecture analyses to support business initiatives. Partner with internal stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into effective architecture solutions. Functional & Application Architecture Design and analyse business processes and functional capabilities across domains such as: Finance Human Resources Logistics Shipping Customer Platforms Define application architecture, integration strategies, and solution blueprints. Support technology selection processes, vendor evaluations, and RFP activities. Enterprise Architecture Governance Maintain and enrich the enterprise application landscape using LeanIX. Develop and update architecture standards, principles, and best practices. Facilitate architecture workshops and stakeholder engagements. Contribute to the continuous evolution and maturity of the Enterprise Architecture function.
