POSITION INFO
We are seeking a highly analytical and commercially minded Senior Reporting Consultant to join a growing consulting environment focused on helping large organisations streamline, automate, and enhance their reporting and planning processes. This role offers exposure to diverse reporting environments across listed, multinational, and public-sector organisations, providing an opportunity to work on complex financial reporting and planning projects while building long-term client relationships. Key Responsibilities: Lead the implementation and optimisation of financial reporting and planning solutions. Design and build reporting structures, data collection templates, dashboards, and management reports. Analyse, map, and integrate data from multiple source systems into reporting environments. Develop and maintain financial and operational reporting models. Assist clients with budgeting, forecasting, management reporting, and planning processes. Provide ongoing support, training, and advisory services to finance teams. Manage client relationships and identify opportunities to improve reporting efficiency and business performance. Prepare documentation, presentations, and stakeholder reports. Participate in internal projects and continuous improvement initiatives. Requirements: CA(SA)/ CIMA qualified Minimum 5 years' experience in: Financial reporting, FP&A, budgeting, forecasting, financial management, or business analysis; or The implementation and support of financial reporting and planning solutions. Strong understanding of financial statements, management accounts, budgets, forecasts, and reporting packs. Advanced Excel skills, including: Financial modelling Complex formulas and functions Data analysis and validation Dashboard development Report automation Experience building reporting models and templates from scratch. Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Ability to operate in a fast-paced, client-focused environment. Advantageous Experience Group consolidations and multi-entity reporting environments. IFRS knowledge. Exposure to databases and SQL. Articles completed at an accounting firm.
