Buyer - Mining - Ledig/Boshoek/Rustenburg - 2 Month FTC with possible Extension

We're looking for an experienced buyer with an extensive background within the mining industry.

MUST BE AVAILABLE IMMEDIATELY!

1. Releasing of Purchase orders on SAP.
2. Managing of various activities and monitoring of internal KPI’s.
3. Controlling of PR and PO ageing (Expediting).
4. Creating RFQ / RFP and purchase order on SAP for Materials and services.
5. Procure of goods and services.
6. Creating and controlling of Rotable PO and waybills.
7. Allocation of requisitions and management thereof.
8. Collaborate with suppliers and end users (Internal and external stakeholders).
9. Contract negotiations.
10. Benchmarking for best market related prices.
11. Updating of outline agreements.
12. Contract administration.
13. Identify repetitive spend and initiate RFCA (Request for Contract Action) for contract Coverage and Automation.
14. Highlight supplier performance and introducing of possible solutions.
15. Assisting vendor master with supplier update.
16. Spent and savings mechanism.
17. Coordinating / Onboarding for new suppliers to ensure.
18. Supplier compliance.
19. Assist in resolving queries Account payables queries.

1. National Diploma or Degree in Business Commerce, Procurement, Supply Chain, Logistics, finance or a related field.
2. Tertiaty qualification in Supply Chain / Procurement (Advantatgeous)
3. At least 5 years' experience in a procurement / buying role within the mining industry (Non Negotiable)

Up to R45K, depending on qualifications & experience.
