As the midyear point approaches, premier high-turnover organizations across Gauteng are actively fortifying their corporate head offices, seeking technically elite professionals who look at the bigger picture and transform multi-division financial data into a clear view of overall corporate health. I am currently executing a confidential talent search to connect with high-performing Group Accountants who are open to discovering strategic, unadvertised opportunities. This initiative is tailored specifically for CA(SA) professionals who possess solid post-articles commercial experience at the group level and thrive on executing complex, multi-entity consolidations. Who Am I Looking To Connect With: Candidates who actively execute complex, company-level consolidations across multiple divisions and entities into one flawless set of group financials, moving beyond high-level oversight to deeply review adjusting journals, ledgers, and ensure overall completeness. Candidates who take full ownership of compiling and reviewing the group or divisional AFS, maintaining strict structural alignment with GAAP, IFRS, and international reporting benchmarks. Candidates who can formulate consolidated internal and external reporting packages and performance dashboards for corporate head office executives, banking institutions, and institutional investors. Candidates who can act as the primary corporate liaison for external auditors during rigorous year-end audits, preparing audit packs, answering technical queries, and managing complex banking queries related to group accounts. Candidates who can calculate, verify, and submit accurate group-wide VAT returns while supporting broader corporate tax-related activities as required by authorities. Job Experience and Skills Required: A completed BCom Accounting or BCom Honours degree. CA(SA) status is essential, providing the mandatory foundation for advanced technical reporting knowledge. Completed SAICA articles within a reputable public practice environment. Proven post-articles commercial industry experience operating at a group, head office, or complex divisional level. Demonstration of deep, hands-on experience performing consolidations for multiple divisions within high-turnover groups, a meticulous understanding of statutory AFS requirements, and exceptional communication skills necessary to navigate auditor and banking relationships.
