Curro seeks to appoint a Senior Phase Teacher YES Candidate (part-time) at Curro Protea Glen in Soweto to commence duties in August 2026

Key performance areas

• Assist the teacher in their duties,
• Manage the classroom, including classroom design and set-up for optimal performance, disciplinary rules and communication with learners and parents
• Plan and manage homework per grade, including revisions and managing reading levels and progress
• Plan and manage extramural activities and outings

Qualifications, experience and skills

• South African youth between 18 and 34 years old.
• Must be previously unemployed.
• BEd
• Knowledge of the CAPS curriculum
• Excellent communication, organisational and planning skills
• Willing and able to work extended hours
• Proficient in Microsoft Office
• SACE-registered
• Clear criminal record Living close to the Curro school you’re applying for.
• Energetic, reliable, and team-oriented.

• This is a 12-month contract position
