POSITION INFO

A leading property developer is seeking an experienced Senior Building Foreman to join their team on prestigious residential and mixed-use developments in the Midrand area, Gauteng. This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on construction professional with a proven track record of successfully delivering large-scale building projects while maintaining the highest standards of quality, safety, and productivity. Key Responsibilities Manage and supervise all site construction activities. Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and labour teams. Ensure projects are delivered according to programme, budget, and quality requirements. Monitor workmanship and enforce quality control standards. Conduct daily site inspections and toolbox talks. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations. Assist with planning, scheduling, and resource allocation. Liaise with Site Agents, Contracts Managers, Consultants, and Project Managers. Maintain accurate site records, progress reports, and labour returns. Drive productivity while minimizing delays and rework. Minimum Requirements Minimum 10 years' experience as a Building Foreman, with at least 5 years in a Senior Foreman role. Proven experience on large residential, commercial, mixed-use, or high-rise developments. Strong knowledge of building construction methods, sequencing, and finishes. Ability to manage multiple subcontractors and labour teams effectively. Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. Sound understanding of construction drawings and specifications. Strong commitment to health, safety, quality, and programme delivery. Valid driver's licence and own transport. Preferred Experience Experience working for reputable property developers or leading building contractors. Exposure to multi-storey residential developments. Knowledge of CCS, BuildSmart, or other construction management systems would be advantageous. Package A highly competitive salary package will be offered based on experience and proven track record.
