Software Implementation Engineer

Our client is seeking a Software Implementation Engineer to join a fast-paced, innovation-driven environment based in Ballito (Umhlali). This role sits at the intersection of AI, enterprise systems, and automation, focusing on building and deploying autonomous AI-driven workflows for enterprise clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement agentic AI workflows for end-to-end business processes
• Integrate enterprise systems including CRMs, payment gateways, and communication APIs
• Build event-driven automation using webhooks, triggers, and real-time data flows
• Translate client business requirements into scalable technical solutions
• Collaborate with stakeholders including technical teams and executive leadership
• Design testing frameworks to ensure reliability and safe AI agent performance
• Monitor system performance and optimise AI workflows for measurable ROI

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in software development or implementation engineering
• Strong understanding of REST APIs and webhook-based architectures
• Experience with data transformation and workflow automation
• Exposure to AI/LLM tools and orchestration is advantageous
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
