Specialist Developer (C#)

Our client is seeking a highly skilled Specialist: Developer to join a fast-paced development environment based in Edenvale. This role focuses on building scalable applications, driving technical excellence, and delivering high-quality software solutions across the full development lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain applications using C#.NET, VB.NET, .NET Core, and .NET Framework
• Develop and optimise SQL queries, stored procedures, triggers, and indexing strategies on MSSQL
• Build and integrate RESTful APIs and web services
• Analyse business requirements and design high-performance technical solutions
• Maintain, enhance, and support existing systems and applications
• Participate in code reviews, testing, deployments, and documentation
• Collaborate with stakeholders, analysts, and external vendors
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers

Requirements

• Degree or Diploma in a relevant field
• 5–8 years’ software development experience in .NET (C#.NET, VB.NET)
• Strong MSSQL experience including complex queries and performance tuning
• Experience with REST API and web services development
• Strong understanding of software architecture and best practices
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
• Ability to work independently and in a collaborative team environment
