SUMMARY
We are a fast-growing start-up construction company focused on delivering high-quality projects in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. As we scale, we are looking for a driven and hands-on Junior Transaction Manager to join our team and help build strong financial and operational processes from the ground up.
POSITION INFO
Key Responsibilities Transaction Processing Process and manage supplier invoices, subcontractor payments, and project expenses Ensure all transactions are: Accurate Complete Processed within required timelines Resolve discrepancies and follow up on outstanding payments Coordination & Stakeholder Engagement Work closely with: Project managers Site teams Suppliers and subcontractors Finance support Act as a key contact for transaction-related queries Ensure smooth communication across teams Compliance & Controls Ensure transactions align with: Company processes Contract agreements Identify risks or inconsistencies and escalate where necessary Support audit preparation and compliance checks Documentation & Administration Maintain accurate and organized records of: Contracts Invoices Payment schedules Ensure all supporting documents are filed and audit-ready Financial & Project Support Assist with: Capturing transactions correctly Allocating costs to the correct projects and budgets Support reconciliations (supplier and project level) Work closely with finance to ensure clean and accurate data Process Improvement (Key for Start-Up) Help identify inefficiencies in transaction processes Suggest and implement practical improvements and controls Contribute to building scalable systems as the company grows Reporting Assist with basic reporting on: Project spend Outstanding payments Transaction issues Provide insights to support operational decision-making Key Requirements 2-3 years' experience in finance, accounting, or similar role Degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field Strong attention to detail and accuracy Highly organized and proactive Strong communication skills Ability to work in a fast-paced, evolving start-up environment Experience in construction or project-based environments is an advantage Ideal Candidate Hands-on and willing to get involved in multiple areas Comfortable working with limited structure (start-up environment) Strong problem-solver with a proactive mindset Eager to grow and take on more responsibility Why Join Us?
