SUMMARY
We are seeking a highly skilled Key Accounts Manager to manage and grow relationships with key clients while ensuring the effective delivery of solutions aligned to their business needs.

Purpose of the Job: We are seeking a highly skilled Key Accounts Manager to manage and grow relationships with key clients while ensuring the effective delivery of solutions aligned to their business needs. The successful candidate will be responsible for understanding client requirements, coordinating internal resources, and driving the implementation of solutions through the company's systems and service offerings. The ideal candidate will possess strong relationship management abilities, excellent communication and problem-solving skills, and the capability to translate client requirements into practical business solutions while ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and long-term partnership growth. Qualifications and Experience: Bachelor's degree in Sales, Marketing, Account Management or a related field. 3-5 years sales and or account management experience in Automotive or related industry Key Responsibilities: Build and maintain strong client relationships. Assume full responsibility for existing client accounts, including debtor management. Address and resolve client queries and report back to relevant stakeholders. Identify opportunities to expand company offerings within the existing client base. Engage in consultative selling with a business solutions approach. Prepare and manage presentations, quotations, proposals, and account plans. Meet and exceed assigned sales targets. Effectively forecast, plan, and implement client projects. Ensure prompt response times to all client queries. Conduct regular client stock takes and report results, including managing stock loss settlements. Ensure clients remain informed about all company products and services. Analyse and map client processes and equipment volumes/types. Maintain accurate client contact information. Facilitate training on company systems, dashboards, scanners, and new technologies. Proactively identify risks that may affect client retention and implement mitigation strategies. Monitor competitor activity and provide strategic recommendations to senior management. Skills: Ability to build high-level, trust-based relationships with senior stakeholders. Strong communication and active listening skills. Ability to develop long-term, value-driven client strategies. Strong analytical and reporting skills (advanced Excel proficiency). Excellent written and verbal communication in English. Strong interpersonal and problem-solving abilities. Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines. Experience managing multiple client accounts. Exceptional time management skills. Willingness to travel regionally and attend client meetings. Own reliable transport.
