SUMMARY

We are seeking a highly motivated

Coastal Modeller to join our multidisciplinary coastal and marine team. This role offers the opportunity to work on challenging and impactful projects involving coastal processes, shoreline management, port development, flood risk assessment, climate resilience, and marine infrastructure.

POSITION INFO

Key Responsibilities Develop, calibrate, validate, and apply coastal numerical models. Support and deliver coastal and port modelling studies Apply numerical modelling tools to analyse coastal processes such as waves, currents, sediment transport, and shoreline dynamics Assist in technical reporting, data analysis, and project delivery Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on design and advisory projects Conduct hydrodynamic, wave, sediment transport, and coastal flooding studies. Analyze metocean, bathymetric, topographic, and environmental datasets. Support feasibility studies, concept design, and detailed engineering projects. Prepare technical reports, presentations, and client deliverables. Interpret model results and provide engineering recommendations. Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary project teams. Support climate change adaptation and coastal resilience projects. Contribute to proposal preparation and business development activities. Ensure project delivery meets quality, budget, and schedule requirements. Required Qualifications Degree in Engineering, Oceanography, Applied Mathematics, or related field Postgraduate qualification in Coastal/Port Engineering (preferred) 0-10 years' relevant post-graduate experience Familiarity with modelling software (e.g., MIKE by DHI, XBeach, Delft3D) and/or coding (e.g., Python, C#) is advantageous but not essential. Strong understanding of coastal processes, wave dynamics, hydrodynamics, and sediment transport.
