We are seeking a driven and experienced

Logistics & Procurement Coordinator to join a team in Mossel Bay.

About The Role

The successful candidate will play a key role in managing the full import logistics lifecycle, from supplier coordination to final delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end import logistics, including shipping, customs clearing, and local distribution
• Liaise with international suppliers (primarily in China) to coordinate orders and shipments
• Work closely with clearing agents, freight forwarders, and transport providers
• Plan and coordinate procurement activities, order timelines, and container shipments
• Optimise shipping schedules, freight methods, and overall logistics costs
• Ensure compliance with import regulations, duties, and documentation requirements
• Identify opportunities for cost savings across shipping, clearing, warehousing, and transport
• Collaborate internally to support smooth stock planning and inventory flow

Requirements

• Proven experience in imports and international logistics, especially from China or Eastern markets
• Solid understanding of shipping processes, customs clearing, and freight forwarding
• Experience with procurement planning and supplier coordination
• Strong organisational and communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple product lines and adapt to a dynamic environment
• Commercial mindset with a focus on cost-efficiency and continuous improvement
• Energetic, hands-on, and proactive approach
• Passion for logistics, procurement, and supply chain optimisation
