The Product Specialist – Slots is responsible for managing, optimizing, and growing the company’s Slots portfolio across all online gaming platforms. The role focuses specifically on Slots content strategy, game performance, provider relationships, promotional mechanics, customer engagement, and the overall player experience within the Slots portfolio. The role encompasses end-to-end product lifecycle management, market analysis, platform enhancement, partner coordination, and ongoing performance optimization.
A key focus of the position is improving customer experience, ensuring platform stability, driving innovation, and contributing to revenue growth. The Product Specialist serves as the link between technical teams, business stakeholders, and external providers while ensuring compliance with Internal & Regulatory requirements.

What You’ll Do For The Brand
Slots Product & Platform Management
- Manage and maintain the Slots lobby across all platforms including Website, Mobile Apps, Gaming Platforms, and future digital channels.
- Ensure Slots games are correctly configured, categorized, localized, and positioned for optimal customer engagement.
- Review and manage game metadata including paylines, volatility, RTP, themes, jackpot information, providers, and mechanics.
- Test all new Slots games, jackpots, tournaments, and provider integrations before go-live.
- Conduct ongoing quality assurance and product testing to ensure optimal functionality across devices and operating systems.
- Identify platform gaps, usability concerns, customer pain points, and opportunities to improve the Slots experience.
- Compile detailed Business Requirement Documents (BRDs) for Slots enhancements, new features, promotional mechanics, and provider integrations.
- Collaborate with Technical and Development teams to implement platform enhancements and resolve product issues. Monitor and maintain game release calendars and launch schedules.
- Ensure the accuracy of game information, configurations, promotional mechanics, and jackpot functionality.
- Assist with the setup and configuration of Slots tournaments, missions, free spins campaigns, jackpots, and gamification features.
- Remain flexible and available to support after-hours launches, high-priority incidents, or major game releases where required.
Innovation & Market Insight
- Conduct comprehensive competitor benchmarking (local and international) to identify content trends, new innovations, and improvement opportunities.
- Monitor global Slots trends, emerging game mechanics, themes, gamification features, and provider innovations.
- Analyse competitor game positioning, promotional strategies, jackpots, and lobby structures to identify opportunities.
- Recommend innovative Slots concepts, providers, and engagement features aligned with player behaviour and market trends.
- Stay updated on industry developments including new providers, regulatory changes, and advancements within the iGaming and casino landscape.
- Assess provider promotional tools and advise internal teams on effective implementation and optimization.
Testing, Quality Assurance & Compliance
- Oversee all user acceptance testing (UAT) relating to Slots games, providers, promotional tools, jackpots, and casino features.
- Verify game functionality, bonus mechanics, RTP settings, jackpot configurations, and promotional triggers before launch.
- Insure all Slots games and promotions function correctly across mobile and desktop platforms.
- Identify and mitigate product-related risks including technical issues, display inconsistencies, fraud concerns, and data discrepancies.
- Ensure products comply with provincial and national gaming regulations.
- Collaborate with Compliance teams on GB approvals and maintain up-to-date documentation.
Data Analysis & Reporting
- Report on product performance following business or competitor-driven changes.
- Identify trends, opportunities, risks, and areas requiring intervention.
Customer Experience & Engagement
- Continuously evaluate and improve the overall Slots player journey and customer experience.
- Analyse player feedback, support tickets, and customer complaints to identify recurring issues and opportunities for improvement.
- Recommend UX/UI enhancements based on player behaviour, analytics, and industry best practices.
- Work closely with Customer Support teams to resolve Slots-related issues efficiently.
- Ensure customers have access to engaging, relevant, and high-performing Slots content.
- Assist in identifying and implementing personalization opportunities within the Slots experience.
Game Performance & Portfolio Optimization
- Manage and optimise slot game positioning and visibility across platforms based on performance data, player engagement, revenue contribution, and strategic business objectives.
- Monitor and evaluate game performance metrics such as turnover, GGR, RTP, session duration, conversion, and retention to support commercial decision-making.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders and suppliers to ensure high-performing slot content is effectively prioritised, promoted, and positioned within the product offering.
- Produce regular performance reports and actionable insights to support portfolio optimisation and enhance player experience.
- Use data-driven analysis to recommend game rotations, featured placements, and promotional strategies aimed at maximising player engagement and revenue performance.
