Finance & Administration Clerk

POSITION INFO

We are seeking an organised and detail-oriented Finance & Administration Clerk to support our finance, operations, and project teams. The successful candidate will be responsible for financial administration, project costing support, stock control, supplier and debtor management, and general office administration. Key Responsibilities: Process supplier invoices, purchase orders, reconciliations, and payment schedules. Assist with accounts payable, accounts receivable, and debtor follow-ups. Maintain accurate financial records and assist with month-end reporting. Support project administration, contract documentation, and document control. Assist with project costing, job cost allocations, and profitability reporting. Monitor material usage and reconcile supplier invoices against project costs. Conduct stock takes, inventory reconciliations, and maintain stock records. Support procurement planning and ensure stock control procedures are followed. Provide general administrative support to project and operations teams. Minimum Requirements: Grade 12 (Matric). Qualification in Finance, Accounting, Bookkeeping, Business Administration, or related field advantageous. 3-5 years'' experience in a Finance and Administration role. Experience in a construction, manufacturing, shopfitting, or project-based environment advantageous. Strong knowledge of accounts payable, accounts receivable, reconciliations, and project costing. Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and accounting software. Experience with stock control, inventory management, and purchase order processes. Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail. Key Competencies: Strong numerical and analytical ability. Excellent communication and administrative skills. High level of integrity and confidentiality. Strong reporting, reconciliation, and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently, manage deadlines, and perform under pressure. Experience identifying cost variances and cost-saving opportunities.
