The Opportunity

We are looking for a Digital health Consultant to be based in Gauteng

This role partners closely with the Core Lab Sales Organization to deliver intelligent insights, optimize lab operations, and drive adoption of Abbott’s

AlinIQ portfolio, ultimately enhancing customer value and satisfaction.

What You’ll Work On

  • Present and position AlinIQ OPEX Enabler solutions at customer sites
  • Support pre-sales activities, including creation of Statements of Work (SOW)
  • Identify customer pain points and develop tailored solutions to expand value opportunities
  • Deliver advanced and functional training on AlinIQ solutions in live lab environments
  • Optimize customer workflows by leveraging AlinIQ functionalities
  • Ensure maximum utilization of solutions, driving ROI and customer satisfaction (NPS)
  • Collaborate with sales teams to identify and close value expansion opportunities
  • Reduce training-related issues through hyper-care support and proactive engagement
  • Act as a trusted advisor, transforming customer sites into AlinIQ reference centers

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in medical/Life Sciences, IT, or Medical Technology (preferred)
  • Strong understanding of IT systems within hospital or laboratory environments
  • Experience in healthcare IT, laboratory medicine, or diagnostics preferred
  • Proven ability to translate technology into business and clinical value
  • Strong consulting, stakeholder management, and relationship-building skills
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving capabilities
  • Hands-on approach with strong presentation and communication skills
  • Customer-focused mindset with the ability to influence and collaborate cross-functionally
  • Detail-oriented, solution-driven, and open to challenging the status quo
