Our Transactions team is looking for a new dedicated colleague in the function of a
Junior Transaction Officer
This position offers a unique possibility to dive in the world of impact investments. It is made for a motivated candidate with distinct analytical skills and an accurate and responsible working approach.
Your Main Tasks
- Draft contractual documents (promissory notes, loan agreements, waivers) with assistance of senior and Legal Counsel
- Support with continuous investment administration (cash flow statements and tracking, legal documents tracking, deal restructuring)
- Liaise with Custody Bank for execution of disbursements
- Execute FX trades in deliverable and non-deliverable currencies
- Co-ordination with Investment Officers, Transaction Officers and Investees for obtaining and tracking various Constitutional, Legal, Financial & Regulatory documents
Your Experience And Skills
- Interest in and enthusiasm for impact investments
- Degree in Finance/ Law, Business Administration, Accounting or a related field from a recognized and reputable institution
- 3/5 years of work experience in Back or Middle Office or in a Finance environment
- Proficiency in English and Spanish (mandatory); any other additional language is considered an asset
- Proficiency with simple AI tools, MS Office, word, macros, and especially Excel
- Efficient, accurate and independent work style; able to work in close cooperation with team members across different geographies, interested in and able to accommodate to working in a culturally diverse working environment
- Analytical skills with the ability to stick to tight timelines
- Strong organizational and planning skills
- Interest in and enthusiasm for impact investments
